I'm Nate Lutz.
I'm a Full-Stack Developer and AI/ML Engineer building technology that matters. As the founder of PawPulse, I'm creating an AI-powered pet health monitoring platform featuring custom hardware, real-time analytics, and machine learning - spanning embedded firmware, cross-platform mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, and veterinary dashboards.
With 21 years of software development, 11 years in digital marketing, and a track record of shipping products across web, mobile, and hardware, I bring technical depth and product vision to every project.

My Story
Growing up in a family of engineers, I was immersed in the world of technology from an early age. At 14, I started writing software and was instantly hooked. It felt like magic to bring my ideas to life through programming. When it came time for college, I chose to stay local and attended SDSU's Computer Science program, where I honed my technical skills and deepened my love for problem-solving.
After graduating, I gained experience working at various startups, which gave me a front-row seat to the fast-paced world of tech innovation. But in 2016, I was ready for a new challenge and decided to move to Shenzhen, China. There, I taught Computer Science at an international school (SCIE), an experience that pushed me to grow and pick up new skills. Along the way, I learned Mandarin, immersed myself in a new culture, and discovered a passion for building products from the ground up.
That entrepreneurial drive led me to found Trusight Studios, where I serve as Creative Director, helping businesses build their digital presence through web development, branding, and marketing strategy. I've worked with companies of all sizes, from startups to established enterprises.
Today, I'm channeling my full-stack development skills, machine learning expertise, and hardware engineering knowledge into PawPulse - an AI-powered pet health monitoring platform. This project combines everything I love: building complex systems, solving real problems, and creating technology that makes a difference in people's (and pets') lives.

Initiating a Project
I consider the initiating phase to be among the most crucial steps when a project kicks off. Clarifying project scope with stakeholders gives clear direction and helps me relay our SMART objectives to the team to minimize risks that might occur.
Organize & Facilitate
Structuring efficient stand-ups with group dynamics in mind is a skill that is sharpened through retrospective analysis while making sure to deliver and reviews/demos to ensure our clients satisfaction is 100%.
Quantifable Results
As the Creative Director of Trusight Studios and founder of PawPulse, I understand the importance of breaking down complex activities into manageable tasks. I track progress using modern project management tools like Jira and Linear, ensuring every milestone is hit and every deliverable exceeds expectations.
Executing Projects on Time
Execution to me means rolling up your sleeves and taking action on everything you outlined in your project plan. As the 3rd of 4 steps in a project lifecycle, I make sure everyones on the same page to ensure the project is carried out efficiently.
Monitoring & Control
To Execute the planning, scoping, implementing, and monitoring of quality into all phases of the project from concept through the final delivery is key to a successful plan. Its my belief documentation of project retrospective are foundational towards the success of future projects.
